Fun with Parabolic Curves

Yesterday I saw a picture of an art project using parabolic curves so I pulled out some graph paper and tried it myself. So much fun! My 15 year old daughter saw what I was doing and thought it was cool (say what?!!) and asked me how to do it. I started to explain but she got lost pretty quick. Then it hit me, why not list out some ordered pairs on the coordinate plane to explain how to do it? An hour later it was complete. :)

I've started several others as well, they are so much fun to create and I know my students will LOVE working on these!

Finally, Some New Products!

Happy New Year! I hope you've had a wonderful break and a wonderful first half of the school year! I started a new journey as a Gifted and Talented teacher at an elementary school this year. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new role but I have been overwhelmed with mastering all the K-5 curriculum so that I can bring my very best for my students. I am feeling much more confident at this point and now have some time to dedicate to updating my TpT store . Over the next few weeks I will be adding many new products I've created this fall to use with my K-5 students and to share with my colleagues.
