This is why I teach...

Was very shocked to receive this letter from a student at my school who is in my National Junior Honor Society and who was in one of my virtual courses last summer. I need to hang this up and read it when I am feeling overwhelmed. One of our Encore teachers assigns students to write a letter of gratitude to a teacher around this time of the year every year. She brought me a short and sweet letter last week, then came back with this one.  This is why I teach!

Finally, Some New Products!

Happy New Year! I hope you've had a wonderful break and a wonderful first half of the school year! I started a new journey as a Gifted and Talented teacher at an elementary school this year. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new role but I have been overwhelmed with mastering all the K-5 curriculum so that I can bring my very best for my students. I am feeling much more confident at this point and now have some time to dedicate to updating my TpT store . Over the next few weeks I will be adding many new products I've created this fall to use with my K-5 students and to share with my colleagues.
